The latest Marvel Realm update brings several exciting additions, including a new Social section with an integrated feed, the ability to update your profile from within the suite, and improved ways to interact with other users.
The Social Section
The Social section differs from the Community section in one important way: while Community focuses on players who are currently online in Marvel Realm, Social lets you interact with users across the entire Sonorous Arts platform.
Press F6 in Marvel Realm to open the Social section. From there, you can view updates from people you follow, search for users across the Sonorous Arts platform, and view or edit your profile.
Please note that the Social section is currently available in early access exclusively to Sonorous Pro members.
The Feed
The Social section includes a Feed tab that brings the Sonorous Arts platform feed directly into Marvel Realm. Previously available only on the website, it now lets you check updates from people you follow without leaving the suite!
As explained in the Marvel Realm documentation:
The Feed tab shows recent public activity from people you follow. Each feed item usually includes the person who performed the activity, a short activity summary, the target of the activity when one is available, and a relative time such as how long ago it happened.
Activate a feed item to open a small action menu. From there, you can open the user's profile. If the feed item includes a link target, you can also open that target. Some targets open another section of Marvel Realm, while external targets open in your browser.
If your feed is empty, follow people from Social or Community profiles to make future activity appear there. If more feed items are available, choose Load more to fetch the next page.
Improved User-to-User Interactions
User profiles now display more information. You can view a user's Following and Followers lists, when available, along with their unlocked achievements and more. These lists may be hidden, depending on the user's privacy settings.
References to users throughout the suite now link directly to their profiles. This makes it easier to discover and follow other people, including users your friends already follow!
Profile Updates
The Social section also includes a Profile tab, where you can view and edit your own profile without leaving Marvel Realm. Along with standard details such as your name and About section, you can manage privacy settings, including whether your Followers and Following lists are visible to the public and whether your email address appears on your profile.
