Our online services and features have been incredibly well received by our amazing community, and we are thrilled that player communication is being so thoroughly enjoyed by our Mirabilians! We are excited to inform you that our suite of online features now includes the ability to send and receive private messages. This feature is officially out of early access, and our Sonorous Plus users can now take full advantage of it, too!
What is Private Messaging?
Private messaging allows you to connect directly and converse one-on-one with other online Marvel Realm players without ever needing to leave your game. Seamlessly integrated into the Marvel Realm suite, this feature works hand-in-hand with our recently introduced Community Panel and Live Notification System. Here is how you can use and manage private messages:
- Just like our other community tools, you can simply press F5 from the menus or during gameplay to open the Community Panel. From there, you can see who is online across the entire suite or in your current game, press enter on your mirabilian of choice and instantly send them a private message.
- You can effortlessly review the private messages you have sent or received. Simply select the "Private Messages" buffer using the bracket keys [ ], then use the period . and comma , keys to cycle forwards and backwards through your conversation history.
- Thanks to our Live Notification System, you will hear a real-time notification sound the moment you receive a private message, ensuring you never miss a beat, even during fast-paced play.
- You are always in control of your own experience. If you wish to prevent a specific user from sending you private messages, navigate to their user page via the Community Panel and toggle the "mute" option to On.
