Welcome, one and all, back to Forest Park! This time, we have a wonderfully detailed and immersive new game for you to enjoy. Imagine yourself walking through a vast, lush, green forest park. It's springtime, with bright sunlight catching the new leaves, a gentle breeze blowing through the trails, and the quiet sounds of nature all around you. After strolling for a while, you start to feel a bit hungry. Right about then, you spot a quaint and beautiful cafe nestled quietly among the trees. A small wooden sign above the door reads: Springwood Cafe. You gladly step inside. The smell of delicious food cooking and the rich aroma of freshly brewed coffee immediately hits you. There's a jukebox in the corner playing calming piano music. Other customers are already seated, enjoying their meals or sipping their drinks, while the large windows frame the natural beauty outside. You're feeling a little warm from your walk, so before doing anything else, you grab a cold soda from the vending machine to enjoy while your meal is prepared. That was the exact atmosphere and fantasy we wanted to capture when building this game, the game we are so proud to present to you today. Here is a quick look at what you can do in the game:
- 3D Audio Simulation: Run your coffee shop using an intuitive system of spatial audio cues. From the sound of brewing coffee to the varied beeps of waiting tables, your ears are your greatest tool.
- Coffee Customization: Grind fresh beans, brew your coffee, and visit the Flavor Station. You'll need to carefully balance sweet, milky, sour, bitter, and strong profiles to perfectly match each customer's specific taste preferences for bonus points!
- Expansive Cooking System: Level up to unlock the fridge and oven, giving you access to 98 distinct food recipes! Manage your ingredients and master your oven timings to serve up everything from Rustic Garlic Bread to Honey Glazed Salmon without burning them.
- Player-Managed Menu: Take total control of your cafe's offerings. Add coffees, beverages, and food recipes to your active menu to specify exactly what your customers can order.
- Upgrades: Spend your score at the local store to upgrade your cafe. Buy a Jukebox and a Soda Vending Machine to earn bonus points, or purchase newspapers, tissue boxes, and or a Wi-fi router to boost customer patience and keep tables clean.
- Hire & Train an Assistant: Automate your workflow by hiring a cafe assistant. As they collect wages, they will level up and learn to clear dirty tables, deliver orders, and eventually even brew custom coffee!
- Build Your Reputation: Serve hot food and accurate orders quickly to earn speed bonuses and build service streaks. Just don't let your customers wait too long, or they will leave angry and hurt your reputation!
