How to Play

You start in the center of the field with a supply of red, green, blue, and yellow balls.
The game rolls balls from the right side of the screen. Your objective is to hit these rolling balls with your own balls before they reach the hazard on the left. If you fail to keep the rolling balls from falling into the hazard for a certain number of times, the game will be over. If the color of your thrown ball matches the rolling ball's color, you earn a ball of that color and score points. Consecutive color matches build a streak, rewarding you with an increasing number of balls of that color per each streak level you earn. To advance to the next streak level, you must successfully earn 10 consecutive matches. You start at streak level 1 and it is possible to go up to level 4! Your streak resets at the start of each level.
It's important to note that you can only gather a certain number of colored balls in total. As such, you have to pick a strategy to always ensure the number of colors in your possession remain evenly distributed, or in other words, to prevent having many of one color, and just a few of another!

To throw a ball, first select its color. Then, hold the 'F' key to charge your throw and release to launch. The longer you hold 'F', the harder the throw, resulting in a faster ball. However, be careful not to overcharge, as this will deplete your strength, causing an automatic throw and requiring a recharge period.
It's important to remember that you may only have one of the colors in the field. Throwing weakly will cause the ball to roll very slowly, thus preventing you from throwing another ball of that color, until the one in the field is removed.

As you advance through levels, new colors of rolling balls will appear. After unlocking all four main colors, you'll encounter bonus balls (detailed below). The speed of rolling balls also increases with each level.

To progress in the higher levels, you must add specific colors to your palette by placing the required colors on the crafting table. Once the requirements are met, you can collect the crafted color and add it to your palette. While early levels only require the main colors, later levels will require crafting compound colors using provided recipes. Note: Only the exact required colors should be on the crafting table when crafting compound colors. Any extra or incorrect colors will prevent crafting, and you'll have to clear the table.
Important: Balls placed on the crafting table are not returned to your inventory. Exercise caution when placing colors.

Bonus Colored Balls

Higher levels unlock bonus colored balls. You can hit these with any of the four main colors, but the color you use affects the outcome. Listen to their unique sounds (as described in the "Learn game sounds" section) to help identify them.

  • Purple: Hitting this has a random outcome: you either receive one ball of the color you hit it with, or a random amount of all four colors.
  • Orange: This ball moves unpredictably. A periodic sound indicates when it's hittable. Successfully hitting it with a color earns you several balls of that color.
  • Gray: Hitting this earns you several balls of the color you used. However, missing causes it to explode, removing a random amount of all four colors from your inventory.

Scoring

  • Hitting a rolling ball with a matching color earns points.
  • Consecutive color matches (streaks) increase the points earned per hit.
  • Collecting all the required balls of a specific color also awards points.

Gameover Scenarios:

  • You run out of one color. Ensure you always have a supply of all four colors.
  • You lose a certain number of balls to the hazard.

  • Manage your ball inventory carefully to avoid running out of any color.
  • Learn the sounds of the bonus balls to react effectively.
  • Practice your throwing strength to control ball speed.
  • Use the turning and face forward controls to quickly adjust your aim.
