Springwood Cafe changelog

New in version 0.0.7

-Adding or removing cafe-menu dishes now keeps the current tab and nearby dish selected - Hand keys 1 and 2 now interact with the targeted object using the corresponding hand (left and right respectively), including empty-hand pickup and retrieval. With no target, they still put held items down. Station and shelf menus retain the chosen hand

New in version 0.0.6

  • Added remappable gameplay and cafe-owned menu controls. The default controller layout now uses Left Trigger for held-item information
  • Added the delivery telephone at level 8 for 225 score. Answer incoming calls, prepare the announced order, package cups and plates, and hand the order to the driver at the delivery front door. Payment arrives after the driver's travel time
  • Added takeout orders at level 9 for 250 score. Takeout customers wait outside, order coffee or food, and leave without occupying tables or creating dirty tableware
  • Added a packaging station and shared delivery front door. The door beacon plays while a takeout customer or telephone order is waiting. Unpackaged cups and plates are accepted, but positive payouts are reduced to 25 percent
  • The customer digest now separates cafe customers and telephone orders, including delivery distance and whether an order awaits preparation or is in transit
  • The cafe assistant can unlock telephone answering at level 12 and front-door packaging and delivery at level 13. The assistant now abandons invalid work and adapts when the player completes or changes part of its current task

  • This game now has its own settings for tutorial guidance and object interaction instructions, including separate options to review or reset tutorial progress.
  • Smoothed out work: shelves can be used while you are holding an item, drinks now have a continuous audio cue, and customers avoid ordering the same item more than three times in a row when the menu offers alternatives.
  • The cafe assistant now finishes the task already in progress before a newly disabled permission takes effect, preventing abandoned jobs and half-finished service.
